HistoryIn May, 2017, ACES hosted an informational session to judge interest in reviving the CT Council of Teachers of English. A small but mighty group of volunteers worked, with support from the National Council of Teachers of English, to re-establish this once flourishing organization. Since then, the CTCTE has held 5 conferences, and a number of member events. We are an all volunteer organization devoted to providing support, professional development, and community to our members as we build our muscles as social justice antiracist anti bias educators. Feedback from previous conferences I was blown away by this workshop. The material was so rich, and the resources provided so diverse and practical--I will be using it ALL. M.G. Talking to Carol Jago! Hearing from colleagues and getting immediate resources to use in classes. R.A. I valued ALL the Key Note speakers. Truly a brilliant conference. R.N.
